Letterkenny Institute of Technology Rejuvenation

Crawford Group recently completed the Rejuvenation of an artificial grass tennis and multi-use sports court at Killybegs for Letterkenny Institute of Technology.

The court has fallen into some disrepair, with significant moss and vegetation growth, a hard and unplayable surface and significant flooding.

This greatly affected not only the appearance of the facility, but also the playing characteristics, player safety and lack of availability of the court.

Crawford Group used our patented Rejuvenation process to firstly remove the vegetation and moss growth, extract the contaminated sand and replace with fresh new silica sand. Whilst there we also carried out some small repairs and painted new playing lines.

The results have been a great success, but dont just take our word for it:

"LYIT is very happy with the rejuvenation process undertaken by Crawford Group on the Tennis Court at our School of Tourism Campus in Killybegs.  The court has been utterly transformed.  Comments  include ‘we could not believe it was the same court’.  Our experience in dealing with the Crawford Group has been extremely positive.  The works were undertaken to the agreed time schedule and budget.  We would have no hesitation in recommending the contractor for any future projects of a similar nature."

The photographs below clearly show the effect of the Rejuvenation process.

Letterkenny Institute of Technology now have a synthetic grass playing facility that will last for many more years and offer a much greater return on their original investment.
